We are the leading independent organization which defends the rights of children around the world. We work in more than 120 countries saving lives, offering security and protection to boys and girls and defending their rights in the context of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Children are the main concern and we act where our work is necessary, regardless of politics ethnicity or religion. Therefore, since 1919 we have worked in the main areas that affect them: education, health nutrition, child slavery, prevention of sexual abuse, reuniting children with their families in the wake of natural disasters and wars among other things.

In Spain, we have worked for more than 20 years with programmes focusing on the most vulnerable children, concentrating on children susceptible to poverty or social exclusion. Through our programmes in Spain, we provide complete attention to boys, girls and their families so that the economic situation or state of social exclusion in which the children live does not prevent them from fully enjoying their rights and so that they can make the most of their potential.
