In the past 62 years in México UNICEF is working closely with the Government, as well as with organisations of civil society and the private sector, under the mandate of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, to move towards the full compliance with the rights of children and adolescents seeking to establish the conditions needed in order to overcome poverty, inequality and discrimination.
México is a country which has the capabilities and infrastructures to meet the fundamental aspects in the fulfillment of the Rights of Children and adolescents, therefore, the mandate by UNICEF here is focused on supporting national efforts to make progress towards the full implementation of all rights for all children.
