The Foundation Plan is an organization which has worked since 1962 to improve the living conditions of girls and boys and experience a situation of extreme vulnerability. Plan is independent and does not have a political or religious affiliation. It works mainly with communities so that they can get organized and participate actively in the resolution of their own problems. It strengthens the leadership capabilities of girls and boys to manage their own development long-term which will guarantee in real terms a transformation in their lives. Plan is permanently active in regions located in the departamentos of Nariño, Cauca, Valle del Cauca, Chocó, Sucre, Bolívar and in the city of Bogotá.
