The vicente Ferrer Foundation is a development NGO which is committed to the process of transforming one of the poorest and most desperate zones in India, of the state of Andhra Pradesh and of some of the most disadvantaged and excluded communities from the indian caste system: dalits, tribal groups and backward castes.

The Foundation is a humanist organization founded on the philosophy of action. With his way of thinking and working, Vicente Ferrer was able to pass on his commitment to eradicate inequality and make people aware of important issues, and at the same time he involved people in their own change. His way of understanding development has given rise to an exemplary model within the framework of cooperation.

In Spain, the Foundation is developing an awareness campaign about the need to keep transforming Andhra Pradesh. Right now, this development NGO has its headquarters in Barcelona and seven delegations spread out throughout the Spanish Peninsula.
